Priestess

Magical Ranged Attack, Medium Armor

Priestesses are masters of magic, wielding the ability to heal, to destroy, and to protect through their connection to the ether. They are powerful allies and fearsome in anger. Do not meddle in the affairs of a Priestess.

Mana Shield Information
Mana Shield doesn't change in efficiency, but it absorbs more damage at higher levels. At any given level, 20% less damage will go to your health than did at the previous level.

Don't overspend in Mana Shield. It's a very nice spell for keeping yourself alive, but unless you can do something with your longer life, it won't help you in the end. It's usually not a good idea to put your first point into Mana Shield.

 

Regeneration
Heals a friendly unit over time.

Regeneration Information
Regeneration is a very powerful healing spell. Make sure you save it until you can get full effectiveness from it.

Unlike the Guardians' Heal spell, Regeneration allows you to heal someone for 10 seconds with only one cast. This makes it more effective as a combat heal, because you can continue to fight while the target is healing, or even heal several people at once. On the down side, you need to get very close to the person you want to heal.

Regeneration isn't quite as fast as the Guardians' Heal spell at a given level, but it can be raised to higher levels.

You cannot cast Regeneration on yourself. Team up with another healer, or use Mana Shield for self-defense.

 

Blizzard
Rains ice shards down on a small area, dealing area of effect damage.

Blizzard Information
Blizzard does a lot of damage. Blizzard is great for killing enemies quickly, especially when combined with banish.

Blizzard must be maintained to get its full effect. If you order the Priestess to do something else, or she gets stunned before the spell finishes, you won't get the maximum amount of damage.

Blizzard hurts allies as well, so be careful where you target it. If you cast Blizzard on yourself, you will damage yourself.

Blizzard does only 25% of its rated damage against buildings.

 

Banish
Turns a unit ethereal and slows their movement speed by 40%.

Banish Information
Ethereal units cannot deal or receive physical damage, but they can still use magic attacks and spells, and take 66% more damage from magic.

Banish an enemy before using Blizzard to increase damage and make it more difficult for them to get out of the area of effect.

Banish powerful enemy melee units to prevent them from attacking, or cast banish on allies that don't need to use physical attacks to protect them from physical damage.

Use Banish to get past non-magical enemy towers. Remember that you move more slowly while Banished, however.

Banish an allied unit being healed to increase the effect of the healing magic.

 

Summon
Teleports a friendly unit to the caster's location. If the Priestess is damaged while casting Summon, the spell will be interrupted.

Summon Information
Summon won't help you directly in combat, but it can be a very nice utility spell.

Use Summon to pull friends out of dangerous situations.

Use Summon to help your team assemble before a battle so that you can fight together.

Have a teammate act as a decoy to draw the enemy to a remote location, and then Summon him back to the main group.

As a bodyguard, the Priestess can use Mana Shield to get through traps which would kill the VIP, and then Summon the VIP to some safe location beyond--but only if she can shake off pursuit long enough to do so.

Don't cast summon while you are under attack, because if you are damaged during the casting time, the spell will be interrupted and you will have wasted the mana. Summon will also be interrupted if you order the Priestess to do something else while she is casting. You can cast Summon more quickly at higher skill levels.
